There's Always Next Year
So my theory that the Cubs would go far in the playoffs because I'm here in Australia fell apart this weekend after the Cubbies got swept by Arizona. So my new theory is that the reason the Illini are playing well is because I'm here in Australia. Hopefully the football team's end result will be better than the Cubbies.

Lil Sis- As for the Cubs, it is cliche, "But wait for next year". Thankfully you are Down Under for another month, so the Illini football team can hopefully keep it up. Memorial Stadium has been crazy and insane for the last two games... lots of fun.
Oh, and I looked at the calendar and it appears that the Illini basketball team will be in Hawaii to play U of H and then in the Maui Invitational while you are there. Ok, so I am already insanely jealous of you getting to go to Australia and such, and the 5-day lay over in Hawaii makes you officialy suck, but if you get to stop in Hawaii and see the Illini basketball team too, then well you now officially suck in three major ways, "Really hard, really bad, and wicked bad". I can see it now, with your luck you will manage to run into Michael Jordan in Hawaii (since his son Jeff now plays for the Illini) and he will buy you a beer and give you some free Hanes underwear
